List of Schools that have produced the most Springboks rugby players?
Paul Roos however was the captain of the first South African “Springbok” rugby team to tour the British Isles and France. The South African team was largely dominated by players from Western Province between 1889 to 1906. This team was for the first time known as Springboks “Springbokken” which was named by the legendary Springbok captain of 1906 Paul Roos.
Springbok Criteria:
Uncapped Bok players in squad must go on field in to get capped & as from 2014 the uncapped players on Bok Tours abroad wont get Springbok number like in past unless they went on pitch during official International for Springboks.
School Criteria:
The criteria for credit of Springbok caps goes to school where the rugby player first matriculated (school on matric certificate) & Post Matric school gets no credit.
